Thunderstorms rolling in

Bringing cooler weather

The thunders will keep me up

So will the lightning

As will the raindrops hitting my window

But if you ask me

It’s a small price to pay

For cooler weather

Fifteen degrees cooler at that!

But wow those thunders though

Still, were I to put

Thunders keeping me up

Versus 107 heat index!

I’ll take thunders keeping me up any day
