Serenity

Waking up to this view this morning feels so serene to me. The birthday girls were still asleep when I awoke bright and early. I tiptoed to the kitchen, made a cup of herb tea and came back to bed to watch as the wafts of mist rose from the lake covering the lake making it look mystical.

I grabbed my phone and took some photos before the sun fully rose capturing that mist and sat back to enjoy it. I have always enjoyed being near water. Bodies of water just do something to my soul. Note to self: Do this more often.

It is still pretty cold outside and the day promises to be a cold sunny day. We don’t have an agenda in mind. There’s a huge outlet mall close by so I am sure we will definitely be there. I like to visit quaint little stores, museums and nerdy stuff like that. But it’s not my birthday so I’m going to take a bit of a back seat and let the birthday girls take a lead on the agenda. And that is good too. But first breakfast β˜•πŸžπŸ³
