We are hitting the road today for a weekend trip to the Ozarks.  We being my bff, her twin and yours truly.  The three musketeers.  It’s been a while since we had a trip but this year, we decided to head off to celebrate their birthday weekend.  No husbands or boyfriends allowed, just a girls’ trip, thank you very much.

The weather turned cold yesterday here in the Midwest and we had some flurries throughout the afternoon.  But a quick look at the weather shows we are right about the freezing point and the roads currently have some slick spots.  We expect to leave around noon so hopefully the roads will be clear by then.
