When I saw today’s prompt, I thought, I’d write a piece about synchronizing my sleep. How I’ve been sleeping better which I have. And so on and so forth.
Instead the lyrics below kept going through my mind.
π΅”Let’s synchronize our..”π΅
I couldn’t quite remember the last word but could hear the song. I was humming it in my mind.
Then Enter Google. I type in “Let’s synchronize our lyrics” and I get some results and sure enough, three entries in are the lyrics in my mind
“Come on my brothers and sisters Let’s not waste our times We got to move together Let’s synchronize our minds”
It’s a reggae song. Quite catchy. It’s a love gone wrong song but the lyrics above are smack in the middle of the song and appear to have nothing to do with the song which is weird.
But they are great lyrics anyway. So much for my sleep blog. I got music on my mind.
Having “music on the mind” is always a good thing, I say! The days I’ve awoken with part of a hymn playing on my lips are blessed indeed–and when a song suddenly bursts through my too-busy thoughts in the daytime, that feels like a huge bonus!

Yes, they are welcome almost all the time. Unless they are sad songs which make me cry..and in most cases, I just infer that I needed a good cry. Except..not on my way to workππ
